Annie Paden worked for seventeen years in a ministry helping women as they faced a wide range of difficult life circumstances. In the process she developed compassion and understanding for the challenges women face in today’s world. As an author Annie has been published in LIVE, Radiant Life and Stories for the Heart by Alice Gray. She was nominated for the Northwest Christian community Foundation Christian Servant Award in recognition of her influence in the lives of women, children and their families.
Annie worked in a ministry serving women and children for seventeen years. As she came alongside women facing difficult circumstances she developed compassion and understanding for the challenges women face in todays world. Her experience laid the groundwork for studying and writing to encourage women to nurture the Fruit of the Spirit in their lives and then share it with others. She was nominated for the Northwest Community Foundation Christian Servant award in recognition of her influence in the lives of women, children and their families. As an author Annie has been published in Live, Radiant Life and Stories for the Heart by Alice Gray. She is a member of Oregon Christian Writers Association and was a finalist in the 2017 Cascade Writers Contest in the non-fiction category. Annie's church involvement includes: organizing retreats, teaching workshops and leading Bible studies. She also assisted her husband in small group leadership for six years, volunteered in a teen outreach ministry and headed and participated in a church welcoming committee.Annie loves reading, writing, Bible study, photography, golf (she's just learning) and puttering in her garden. Her all-time favorite activities are spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and friends. She and her husband, Rich have been married forty-six years, have two sons, four grandchildren and six cats.
